Transcending pt. 1 Exhibition (Lagos, Nigeria) - April 2022

For her first exhibition, Nneji Akunne goes beyond garment design to examine the global impact of garment waste. She visually depicts the importance of sustainability in fashion by creating intricate pieces assembled from scrap materials leftover from past collections.

During the 7-day exhibition, visitors will have access to the world of Nneji Akunne through unique installations, culturally-driven sculptures and clothing. During the opening reception, visitors will experience a live depiction of the processes House of Akachi's team takes to upcycle a garment. 

A completely shoppable exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase garments, canvased artworks and sculptures. 

From April 9th to April 15th 2022 from 12pm to 6PM (Lagos Time)
